Artist's Statement
Flowers refresh and nourish me. Bright colors, sinuous lines and squiggles,
dancing spots are an attraction impossible to resist. The closer we move
in to flowers, the more delightful they become. The scents of the roses,
the perfume of gardenias cannot be forgotten. Green leaves enfold and
comfort, the shadow blues help me relax, the warm yellows keep spring
within me.
Nature has it's arms out to me in the trees I pass. Birds call and dart,
each displaying it's own temperament. The flying, jumping and gliding
of the tiniest creatures are the joys of my life. In my art, I am enjoying
the symphony I see around me, where every small part has a poetic life
of importance I want to establish and remember forever
