Dear Compônere Patrons,

Eleanor, (my Mother) and I are currently developing the third generation of the Compônere Gallery web site. You may have noticed the narrow fixed vertical layout of the site. This layout was created when the original site was developed to fit on the monitor size of the original Macintosh computers. We decided to stay with this layout in favor of the modern floating width styles.

In 2009 we introduced Gallery III to the site, an on-line version of the real Gallery III exhibit space within Compônere dedicated to featuring an exhibition of one or more artists each month.At the end of 2009 Compônere joined the social media world of Twitter. This could be an exciting way of keeping in touch with current act ivies in the Gallery.

During 2010 the tradition continued. The Home page changes each month by featuring the monthly Gallery III exhibition artists with a represent work and show description giving the site a fresh face every month. In the fall of 2010 Eleanor expanded the Gallery and designated the space to the more approachable and affordable art under the name of "Artisans @ Compônere.

As the Gallery gets a new fresh look so to does the web site. New for 2011 is the Links Exchange pages. Individuals, businesses and organizations who support an open arts community are invited to participate by exchanging links with Compônere. To participate contact us for details. Behind the scene for 2011 we are converting the site to accommodate a new inventory and accounting system installed just after the start of 2010. This new system is the first step toward the goal of on-line shopping and fully searchable inventory database.
